Matildas Pathway and Perth Glory Star
Ischia Brooking made A League W history in November 2023 by becoming the youngest player ever to feature in the competition. She debuted for Western Sydney Wanderers aged just 14. This record was previously held by football icon Sam Kerr.
Ischia is an attacking midfielder, now playing with Perth Glory. She has impressed at international level where she played a key role in helping the Junior Matildas qualify for the 2024 Under 17 Women’s Asian Cup.
Ischia is a former student ofJohn Curtin College of the Arts. Aside from her football magic, Ischia is also a phenomenal drummer. An Australian production team have already commenced creating a kids musical theatre show about Ischia's life story so far.
